The Karate Kid is a classic movie from 1984 starring Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, Pat Morita as Mr. Miyagi, Elisabeth Shue as Ali Mills, William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence and Martin Kove as Sensei John Kreese. This film was directed by John G. Avildsen and written by Robert Mark Kamen. In 1986, there was The Karate Kid II, which had Yuji Okumoto as Chozen, Tamlyn Tomita as Kumiko, and Danny Kamekona as Sato. In 1989, there was The Karate Kid Part III, which had Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver, Sean Kanan as Mike Barnes, and Robyn Lively as Jessica Andrews. In 1994, there was The Next Karate Kid, which starred Hilary Swank as Julie Pierce, and Michael Ironside as Colonel Dugan. In 2018, a streaming series called Cobra Kai was started - which brought back many of the original cast members reprising their roles, as well as newcomers Xolo Maridueña as Miguel Diaz , Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene, Mary Mouser as Samantha 'Sam' LaRusso, Jacob Bertrand as Eli 'Hawk' Moskowitz, Peyton List as Tory Nichols, and Gianni DeCenzo as Demetri. This series shows the rivalry between Miyagi-Do Karate and Cobra Kai return, as well as introducing Johnny's new dojo team: Eagle Fang Karate! Although, none of this film & streaming series is connected to the 2010 Karate Kid film which starred Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith.

As I've watched this show Cobra Kai, I've noticed one thing which I believe to be a major flaw about the High School which Miguel, Sam, Hawk, Demetri, etc attend (which is supposed to be the same school which Daniel, Johnny, Ali, Bobby, Dutch, Tommy and Jimmy all once attended). Please note: this is a fictional High School, which has students who reside both in Encino, Los Angeles, as well as Reseda, Los Angeles, California. Also, note: the movie's school scenes were really filmed at Charles Evans Hughes Jr. High School in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, while show's High School scenes are actually shot at two different High Schools (though both in Atlanta, Georgia). Anyway, please watch this video as I go over the big flaw in detail, and please leave your comments below letting me know what you think. Thank you.
