In this video I discuss why it’s more advantageous to keep moving with your reactive dog than to put him into a sit. Dogs can focus on what’s setting them off much more when they’re sitting, rather than when they’re engaged in another activity. You’ll have an easier time if you continue on your path, either going straight forward or turning into your dog and moving him away from the target.
