The 1986 film the Karate Kid II might not be as good as the original Karate Kid movie (from 1984). But it is by no means a bad film. The story of Daniel joining Mr. Miyagi as he returns to Tomi Village in Okinawa, Japan, and meets Sato and Yukie again, and also gets introduced to Chozen and Kumiko, makes quite an entertaining film. The brilliant screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen includes many details in the script which many viewers never notice. So in this video, I simply go over one story of Sato and Miyagi's ability to chop a log in half, which many viewers might have missed.

This movie stars Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita, Danny Kamekona, Nobu McCarthy, Yuji Okumoto, and Tamlyn Tomita. It also includes cameos by William Zabka, Martin Kove, Ron Thomas, Rob Garrison, Chad McQueen, and Tony O'Dell. It was directed by John G. Avildsen (who won an Oscar for directing the first Rocky movie).
