That being said, I was able to heal my GERD/chronic acid reflux/heartburn, and I was able to successfully stop taking PPIs—I share my story and experience in hopes of adding another voice to the discussion, and to remind you that bodies are capable of immense healing when we figure out how to best support that healing (which can be the trickiest part!).
