EDF Renewables UK was one of the first renewable energy companies to put in place a dedicated Ranger Service at a wind farm.

Dorenell Ranger Service on Cabrach Estate, near Huntly engages with local communities to educate them about the ongoing work to improve biodiversity and enhance the natural environment.

In 2023, the Ranger team engaged with over 500 adults and children of all backgrounds, talking about the work on the wind farm, educating them about the species that can be found on the site and what work is ongoing to improve the biodiversity and habitat.
