People in the Huntly area in the north of Scotland are reaping the benefits of a comprehensive events programme by Dorenell Ranger Service.

Created by EDF Renewables nearby to its Dorenell wind farm, the Dorenell Rangers place education and community engagement at the heart of their work.

In 2023, the team engaged with over 500 adults and children at a variety of events and through school engagement. This has included weekly health walks in the local community; long distance walks; guided cycles; stargazing; children’s crafts; schools visits and educational courses.
