WHAT CAUSES KNEE PAIN?
Knee pain can come from MANY different sources, but the cause of most atraumatic knee pain (no accident, no injury) can be attributed to muscle weakness.

The muscles that control how your knee moves include the quadriceps and hamstrings, but the muscles that control WHERE your knees move are the hip muscles. All of these muscles must be strong, healthy, and active for normal, pain-free function at the knee, and that’s exactly what I want to share with you in his video!

HOW TO TREAT KNEE PAIN WITH EXERCISE

One of the best ways that you can treat and prevent knee pain is to keep all these muscles as strong and functional as possible.

When your knee starts to hurt, you avoid using it. When you avoid using it, your leg muscles start to atrophy (weaken). As they weaken you knee starts to hurt more and it’s a vicious cycle you find yourself in.

That’s why keeping your leg muscles strong and healthy is vital in helping to treat knee pain, and that’s why the exercises presented in this video are so effective at helping knee pain.
