PART 2 goes through the process of building the wooden hot tub itself. Sourcing the wood, and each part of the wood fire hot tub build are highlighted in this video.

Next video will cover how I add the wheels, epoxy the wood, and create a bicycle trailer for it.

This is a project I have had in my head for around a year now. The idea of being able to use a wood fire hot tub anywhere near a body of water seems so delightful to me. Bike the wood fire hot tub bicycle trailer to the ocean or a lake. Wait an hour or two for it to heat up and enjoy the day.

This also will teach me the process of building a wood fire hot tub, as in the tub itself. Water tight joinery around 2 symmetrical arcs is going to be a challenge in itself. Then comes mounting the wheels to the bicycle trailer. Building a bicycle trailer bares host to a wealth of problems as well, including attaching a DIY bicycle trailer to your bike, building a DIY bicycle trailer from scratch, and fitting wheels onto an axle for a DIY bicycle trailer.

This trailer has to support around 125 pounds during travel. Thankfully the wheels of the bicycle trailer will come off once filled with water so they do not need to support the weight of the wood fire hot tub.
