The third part of one of my favourite projects yet. This wood fired hot tub bicycle trailer has been an exercise in woodworking, metal working, patience, and design. The home made hot tub heater was made using a 40qt gumbo pot, 3/4 copper tubing and a tail pipe from craigslist.

The walls of the wood fired wooden hot tub are made out of knotty cedar glued together with marine grade fir plywood as the flooring.

The axle for this DIY bicycle trailer was made using a threaded rod housed inside aluminum pipe and clamped to the base of the tub using chest locks.
