I conducted an experiment with a new wood finishing technique:

Staining wood with coffee grounds 😀
Finishing wood with coconut oil 😨

Unfortunately it was not completely successful. I learned a lot however. I learned that I love the ease, affordability, and colour that coffee staining provides. I also learned that although coconut oil adds unique colouring to wood as well, it does not act as a proper sealant.
