George and I spent a day in January 2015 diving the Lighthouse Atoll off the coast of Belize with Amigos del Mar.

We first explored the famous Great Blue Hole followed by Half Moon Caye and wrapping up with Aquarium/Eagle Ray. The last two team with marine life and varieties of colorful corals like sponges, fans and gorgonians.

A picnic on the palm fringed beach of Half Moon Caye and visit to the Red Boobie Bird Sanctuary made this adventure especially memorable.
