While fishing on the Grasse River, in St. Lawrence County, on Monday, two juicy worms on the end of my rod caught the attention of a passing lake sturgeon. I struggled to reel in the powerful primordial fish with Dad helping to set the drag so the line wouldn't break. Because the lake sturgeon is still classified as "threatened," we couldn't eat it and had no choice but to throw it back.
