Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Jose Ruperto Martin Andanar leads the groundbreaking ceremony of the first-ever Visayas Media Hub in Mandaue City on February 24, 2022.

The construction of the Visayas Media Hub is one of the flagship projects of the Duterte Administration that aims to promote effective government communication operations. It will serve as the main broadcaster of government media entities for Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, and Western Visayas.

Likewise, the said project will house the different PCOO Attached Agencies such as the People’s Television Network (PTV), Philippine Broadcasting Service (PBS), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Philippine News Agency (PNA), and Presidential Broadcast Staff - Radio Television Malacañang (PBS-RTVM).
