PhonePe launches Indus Appstore:

1. PhonePe has launched the Indus Appstore to challenge Google’s monopoly.
2. They claim to already have over 2 lakh apps on their appstore on the day of launch.
3. A lot of people use mobile numbers to log in instead of email IDs and PhonePe has done the same for Indus Appstore - making it easier for people to log into the app.

Flipkart could acquire troubled Dunzo:

1. Flipkart has been in acquisition talks with Dunzo.
2. But they are finding it hard to navigate the complexities involving the the ownership structure of Dunzo.
3. Reliance Retail owns a large chunk of Dunzo’s business and even has partnerships with them.

EaseMyTrip’s founder partners with SpiceJet’s Ajay Singh to acquire GoFirst:

1. Nishant Pitti-owned Busy Bee Airways has partnered with SpiceJet’s Ajay Singh and submitted a bid to acquire the bankrupt airline GoFirst.
2. GoFirst owes Nishant’s company EaseMyTrip ₹112 crore.
3. Nishant wants to buy GoFirst, revive it and then sell it back to another airline for enough money to recoup his ₹112 crore.

Zepto experiments with subscription plan:

1.Zepto is experimenting with its own subscription-based membership programme - “Zepto Pass”.
2. Users can avail Zepto Pass at a cost of 99 rupees per month and get unlimited free deliveries on orders above 99 rupees.
3. They are also offering additional discounts on select products to make the membership even more entice for their users.

Paytm vs Pine Labs:

1. The RBI issued an FAQs on Paytm’s crisis.
2. And soon, Paytm released these ads to reassure and retain their 37 million merchants.

1. Byju’s has managed to raise $200 million but at the cost of cutting their valuation from their peak $22 billion to just $20 million.
2. there is a set of investors who have called an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Friday - they want to kick Byju and his family out of the startup he has built.
3. According to the shareholders’ agreement (SHA), these investors lack the rights and votes to remove the founders.

2. Bengaluru-based furniture rental platform Rentomojo raised $25 million in their on-going series D round.
3. Pune-based ice cream brand NIC has raised $20 million.
4. Bengaluru-based EV financing startup Vidyut Tech has raised $10 million in their series A round.
5. Gurugram-based Varaha has raised $8.7 million in their series A round
6. Bengaluru-based two-wheeler manufacturer Pure EV, which has raised $8 million.
7. Delhi-based ReFit Global, which has raised ₹2 crore at a ₹200 crore valuation on Shark Tank.
