• Ingredients: Steamed Corn Cake(2 cakes of 8 inches)
Corn flour 300 grams, 0:24,
Hot water 250 grams, 0:29,
All-purpose flour 700 grams, 0:41,
Yeast 8 grams, 0:44,
Sugar 30 grams, 0:48,
Water (room temperature) 300 grams, 0:51,
• Knead the above ingredients into a dough and divide it into 2. Brush two 8-inch cake molds or stainless steel basins with some oil, put the dough in them and let rise. Cover the container while the dough rises. Let it rise until it gets 3 times of its original size and almost fill up the mold. You can put some red dates or dried fruits on it. Heat the water to be boiling before you start steaming. Steam over medium heat for 30 minutes, simmer for 5 minutes and then take them out. Remove the mold when it's not that hot and then let it cool to prevent the steam from damaging the taste.
