Liver and Onions, or Liver and Bacon with Onion Gravy, is one of the traditional classics of British cooking. But these days, liver and onions is not often found in cafe and restaurants. Liver is really cheap and highly nutritious. In this recipe I use lambs liver because of its relatively mild flavour, but really any animal (not bird) liver will work.
