This will give you a quick overview of the previous condition of this 2008 Jayco Eagle. Overall, the roof was in pretty good shape but it was definitely time to re-coat the roof. After a few quick repairs with heavy duty silicone and tape prepping, Florence was ready for paint. I used the white siliconized elastic roof coating made by blackjack. Truth be told, I chose this product because I already had 1 gallon of black jack that my brother gave to me. It was a left over from his camper project. The product recommends using a 3/4 inch nap roller. But I applied an extra heavy coat with a 3/8 nap for a less textured finish in hopes that the water and debris will runoff more easily. Do not try and stretch this product. Apply it heavy without overworking it.
