During my pursuit of trying to find the best way to replace the water damage plywood on the inside of the camper, I stumbled upon a new problem. Nearly the entire back wall had become delaminated. I didn’t know anything about the fiberglass lamination. This was the first time I had encountered something like this. The toughest part about gluing the wall back together as one solid unit was trying to come up with an affective clamping system that would disperse the pressure over the entire back wall.
During the repair I added additional studs that I could fasten the new shiplap wall to.
Materials: 2x4s ripped down to inch and a half, Loctite premium, quarter inch plywood underlayment, Plenty of extra 2 x 4 material for bracing, self tapping screws, caulk gun, and inch and a half foam board.
