16.08.2022 - Krefeld, Northrine-Westfalia, Germany - Recovery of an overturned semi trailer

On Tuesday (16.08.2022), a 56 year old driver lost control of his semi truck after taking the exit "Krefeld-Gartenstadt" of the A57, causing the truck to tip over onto its left side. The driver was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital.

The load, fluid plastics, leaked onto the asphalt.

A recovery company disconnected the trailer from the tractor and tiped the tractor up on its wheels first. After this, a dolly axis was mounted on the trailer before pulling it over also.
