Here we go again. Seven more demo races from NASCAR Thunder 2000. My audience seems to like them, and I like making them, so these compilations are likely here to stay (at least for now).

Something I found out while I was making this video is that which tracks will show up as demo races is actually controlled by the NASCAR.DB file (the RDCH column in the RACE bank, to be precise). This means that you could go in and add or remove whatever races you want to, and they'll be reflected in the actual demo races, which is what I did here. The first four races are ones that will show up in normal (unmodified) gameplay, while the last three are ones that I modded in.

You know, now that I know how to enable these tracks for the demo races, that gets me thinking up all kinds of ideas about what to showcase. Who's up for AI racing on the Daytona beach course?

Elliott Sadler just had no luck in these races. He got in a wreck with Dale Jarrett in the Bus Stop at Watkins Glen, then wrecked twice at Bristol, with the second crash causing a massive pile-up between Johnny Benson, Scott Pruett, Rick Mast, and Darrell Waltrip.

Also, I don't know what Brett Bodine was doing at 13:05. I know he had a blown tire, but, come on, man. It was pretty hilarious, though, I'll give it that.

Also, Robert Pressley is surprisingly OP in this video. I was playing around with some of the driver ratings in this game, and I didn't notice that I made certain drivers too good until I had already recorded something like four or five races. Whoops... At least we got a mildly funny moment out of it at Bristol where Pressley's 77 finished in P7.
