Here we go again - more NASCAR Thunder 2000 demo races. I figured since Part I of this series hit the 2000-view mark, right now would be the perfect time to upload another part. This time, I've included demo races for all of the fantasy tracks in this game. I did break my format a little by including eight races instead of the usual seven, but, even so, the video still came out to just about an hour long, so it's all right.

Just like with the races in the latter half of the last video, none of these races are enabled to be used as demo races by default - you have to go in and enable them manually through the NASCAR.DB file.

Since most of these races are road courses, there's not much in the way of battles for the lead, so you can typically tell who the winners will be from a mile away. Doesn't mean you can't have action further back in the pack, though, and there were a surprising number of wrecks to spice things up a bit.

Speaking of wrecks, Elliott Sadler's bad luck continues in this video, though it seems like Bobby Hamilton is trying to pick up the mantle for King of Bad Luck here. He was involved in the Big One at Tiburon, then pancaked the outside wall roof-first at Talladega Infield. Ouch. Incidentally, both of these wrecks also involved Elliott Sadler - I guess Sadler's bad luck is contagious or something.

The game actually stuttered a little bit while loading Texas Infield (33:16). I don't think I've ever had that happen before.

Phoenix Infield's "coming to the checkered" camera angle is interesting as it's a direct overhead view of the start-finish line. It's actually a pretty neat camera angle - makes it feel like we're watching some retro arcade game from the 80s or 90s.
