Peas in a Pod is a 'Vegimals' toy Tim acquired in the 1970s. Made by Freemountain Toys, Inc., a company based in Bristol, Vermont that produced anthropomorphic vegetables and fruits called Vegimals.

A wind up egg plant or aubergine. Once powered up, it jigs around the table. Catch me if you can! There were other vegetables in the series, and Tim now wishes he had bought them as well, to keep it company!

A key fob which shows Edamame beans. It is actually a finger fiddle, and when you squeeze it, the beans pop out. Let go and they pop back in again, since they are attached to a piece of elastic.

Finally, from the USA, a picked gherkin. Made of plastic, and with a small button on the side. Push the button, and the gherkin yodels!!
