One thing I like about my local yard, even after the fleet renewal, is just when you think you know what it has to offer, it throws a bone at you.

Sometime in September or October of 2022, the yard received 4 trucks, all at once, shipped south from Barstow. These were 1202, the truck that's before your eyes, 1481, and 3889. 1202 is a Volvo Amrep that's sadly retired, 1481 is a standard 08' WX/Amrep, and the last two, 3889 and what's on screen, 1357, are both Peterbilt Amreps that once worked at LABOS.

1357 became a favorite of mine right away. To me, it was a combination of all Pete/Amreps that came before: The Excellent Roar of 1233 and 1234 and the zesty turbo whine of 3480, along with some elements of the Volvo Amreps. And it was one of the last of the old Yucaipa Amreps to still exist (to my knowledge).

unfortunately, I haven't seen this truck in a long time, which means it could be retired, but who knows? 1202 is reportedly now at the Boneyard in Highland, while I have seen 3889 myself recently as of 3 weeks ago, leaving this and 1481 being unaccounted for.

Regardless, despite not hitting the bare minimum of garbage-munching action at 8 minutes, I hope what I have for you is good enough. It certainly is for me.
