There has always been a specific group of trucks that I've been vying to see, but always never seem to even run across them during my casual outings...mainly because of where I go.

When the fleet renewal of 2021/22 got underway, it did so with the arrival of a dozen or more 2008 Bridgeports. All of these were Peterbilt chassis. All but one.

I quickly realized that these were seemingly allocated for Apple Valley (which in fairness, had the older trucks that were starting to ...*um*..., getting on a bit) While that meant I got to see my oldies for a little bit longer, I was largely unable to get one on camera.

Fast forward to 2023, I was venturing into the Neighborhood to film 2732, when instead, I ran upon something else. Not just an 08' Bridgeport, it's the oddball.

In Fairness to this truck, there's another of this exact configuration running in Fontana. that and their road numbers suggest there is another. As for this truck itself, it's a pretty decent unit. Despite being an 08', the engine is something you hear from an even older truck, and the turbo whine is a delight. Overall, it was a good sight to see and film.

Truck featured:
AVCO Disposal 2626
Chassis: 2008 Autocar Xpeditor WX-64 (LNG)
Body: Bridgeport Ranger ASL

Thanks to the driver for letting me film!
