IS THIS A GIANT SUGARY PANCIT TACO? Nope. It certainly is not!

In this video, I continue down the road from Lake Lanao and find myself stopping to try different Maranao snacks. I first try "Tiyathag", which is how they call it in the local language, but I accidentally refer to it in Maguindanaon as "Tinagtag". Some people may know it as Jah or Lokot Lokot... but this ground rice and sugar based snack certainly feels like crispy sugary pancit when you bite into it! From there, I make my way to a junction at Lake Dapao and find so much roti. Literally, there is roti everywhere here!

I also find myself interacting with locals... including a man who moved from manila to live here in Lanao Del Sur. I really appreciated the interactions I had with this local Maranao community. The vibes were amazing, and the snacks were wonderful to try.

From Lanao Del Sur, I start heading back home to Davao... along the way I find a few great coffee shops, and just enjoy the drive!

POWER ON!
