BALABAC ISLAND IS THE SOUTHERN POINT OF THE PHILIPPINES LAST FRONTIER HERE IN PALAWAN!

On this day we adventure from Buliluyan Port and make our way to the southern most Municipality of this Province. We had no plans, but certainly that didn't stop us from connecting and fully immersing with this amazing community. This video is a look at local Balabac Island, and the center of the Municipality. We eat at carinderias, ride tricycles, make friends with locals, setup our hammocks for sleeping, and end up on an amazing boat ride to one of the most spectacular mangrove areas I have ever seen!

Although... there are lots of crocodiles around! So one needs to be careful, especially early morning and late evening! A local look at our first day in Balabac. And an epic adventure into a crocodile mangrove jungle... certainly getting Amazon vibes from it!
