In Porvorim, CogniCue, an emotion AI startup founded in 2020 by Kanan Tandi and Fasih Ahmad Fakhri, offers an AI platform analyzing verbal, non-verbal, and visual cues in videos to discern emotions and detect deception. With over 100 feelings identified, its potential spans various industries, currently aiding BFSI clients like ICICI Lombard in fraud detection.

Founded in 2014 by Tej Naik and his father Narayan Naik, Powerland manufactures versatile ATVs for agriculture and adventure sports. Initially diesel-powered, they shifted to electric in 2019, launching the Tachyon with an 11.2kW Lithium-ion battery, 80-100 km range, and 6-hour charge time. With $1.2 million raised, they aim for 80% localization and increased production capacity to 3,000 units annually. Revenue projection for 2023 stands at 13-14 crore rupees.

While employed at his family's RFID tag business, Rahul Aggarwal harbored aspirations of entrepreneurship. In 2018, he left to establish Coffeeza, offering cafe-style coffee experience at home with capsules and machines. Innovating with recyclable Aluminium capsules, they aim to become a 100 crore coffee brand, expanding into UAE and US markets.

During his flight attendant days, Yash Sawardekar couldn't name a quintessentially Indian drink. Inspired by Goa's underappreciated Feni, he and his sister Tullika founded Goenchi Feni in April 2023, aiming for global recognition. Despite the small market, they achieved a 10 lakh rupee monthly revenue, securing 2 crore rupees from Deepinder Goyal on Shark Tank to propel their global ambitions.

Build3, founded by Varun Chawla, Alakshi Tomar, and Abhimanyu Rathi in 2020, serves as a unique entity encompassing an incubator, accelerator, and VC firm. Their mission is to nurture social impact startups, bolstering Goa's startup ecosystem through funding, mentorship, workspace, and business education from their Candolim beach villa. With investments ranging from 1-5 crore rupees, they have a portfolio of 7 startups as of December 2023.
