I have a few updates since my original shakedown after the initial Chevrolet Bolt EV battery safety recall. Not only does it appear that a few cars slipped through the cracks and caught fire despite having the update applied, I've encountered some issues with the update itself. My DCFC sessions are now cutting out frequently, especially when the car is on while plugged in, and the "improved" charging profile now restricts maximum power to whatever the battery can accept (reducing the effective DCFC speeds).

Basically, while I appreciate GM's work up to this point, they still have a lot to do, and for a specific population of Chevrolet Bolt EVs, it looks like the only option is full battery replacements or buybacks.
