The recall of the Chevrolet Bolt EV and Bolt EUV (and I guess the Opel Ampera-e) has been the source of frustration for many owners (and commenters on this channel). But it does not need to be a source of frustration or aggravation. As I have stated before, I believe GM will resolve this issue fully. But it is compounded by the fact that:

1) People are naturally resistant to change. If something changes in the process, they will easily become frustrated, accusatory, and downright angry. GM has not done themselves any favors in this area. But they have ALWAYS been up front.

2) Over 33% GM owners are not taking their cars in for the recall. That is downright selfish, dangerous, and completely irresponsible of them!
