The biggest challenge when it comes to taking the Jeep Gladiator off-road has less to do with the departure angle and more to do with the breakover. With a 137-inch wheelbase, it’s not uncommon to drag the belly from time to time on the trail. Adding 37s helps, but you need more than just tires to prevent the undercarriage from constantly hitting off-road. On this Inside Line, we’ll take you through what we’ve learned about the Gladiator suspension and why we opted for a JKS 3-inch J-Venture suspension system for our Rubicon model.
