Today we are going to take our Jeep Gladiator Rubicon ECO Diesel and toss it on a set of 39" KO2s... in a day! We are going to do 100% of the work ourselves, from mounting the tires to the lift kit install and then go play around off road a little bit.
I started this build on Thursday (Thanksgiving) and was driving it offroad on Saturday with no help on the install. These trucks really are that easy! This is a great beginner project and for those of you that typically pay someone to do this kind of work, I highly recommend giving this a shot yourself! Invite a couple of buddies over or make it a father son project. The wheels and the Clayton lift kit both have very clear instructions! All this work can be done with very basic hand tools and these modifications are as straight forward as it gets.
To be clear we are going to be adding a bunch more parts in the future including a winch, regearing the axles and even welding on some trusses.
