We just took delivery of our new Tesla Cybertruck! Since we took delivery on the other side of the country, we had to tow the truck on a trailer over nearly 2,400 miles.

When taking delivery of the Cybertruck, we didn’t really have much time to look through the truck for issues. We had to hit the road and it was evening time. By the time I arrived back to Florida, the truck had been exposed to snow, salt, sand and other road debris.

Finally getting a chance to go over the car for issues means I need to deep clean the exterior from oxidation, dirt and debris. Once clean, I am then able to refinish the surface by using batkeepers friend. This cutting agent helps to remove deep contaminants in the stainless surface leaving you with a fresh layer to work with.

After a full walkthrough of the truck, I have very few issues that need to be resolved. I do need 1 door realigned on the drivers side, but all other panels look straight and without blemishes. On the inside, there is clearly some overspray of an unknown substance that has stained the plastic trim on the interior. This unfortunately has splattered and affected several pieces of trim. These will need to be replaced and these pieces are most likely on back order for an unknown period of time.

I am very happy to have my Cybertruck, and even happier to have the truck without a long list of issues needing fixed.
