Moses Ryakitimbo and his team at AFeWiS are at it again. They're installing beehives donated by folks like you. These are some of the final beehives installed to protect the village of Lendoiya. This small village of about 1,500 souls borders the Arusha National Park. Elephants from this protected area can't resist invading farm fields to enjoy some tasty maize or bananas. As elephants avoid bees, beehive fences do a fine job keeping the elephants out of trouble. One of the best win-win human wildlife conflict solutions involving elephants around.
