21.09.2022 - A4 near Kerpen, Germany - Accident between Campervan and Military Ambulance Unimog

On Wednesday (21.09.2022), a traffic accident on the A4 near Kerpen, Germany, caused four injured people. A campervan (Fiat Ducato) from the Netherlands travelling in the right lane rammed a Military Ambulance Truck (Mercedes-Benz Unimog 435). A semi truck travelling in the middle lane grazed the left side of the campervan afterwards. The co-driver of the campervan was trapped in the vehicle with severe injuries. The driver of the campervan and both soldiers in the Unimog were minor injured. The motorway police and the German military police (Feldjäger) recorded the accident scene. A local recovery company towed the campervan. The Unimog was able to continue without any repair work on the scene.
