Bonjour! :D

While Eurostar is today one of the main cross-channel options for those wishing to travel between Britain and Europe, during its early years the company was mired in controversial underperformance and an inability to meet profit margins due to various factors related to government hesitance in providing the necessary infrastructure to make it competitive.

As an eternal testament to this, two of the more ambitious proposals for the Eurostar company, came about with the Nightstar and Regional Eurostar concepts, two services that were intended to bring Eurostar to the further reaches of the British population beyond London, but in both cases failed due to a lack of investment by the state that saw them collapse before they even began.

Special thanks to Photo 57601 for allowing me the use of their footage, it is greatly appreciated. Be sure to check out their channels for more exceptional content of these trains in action.
