Good morning! :D

Easily recognisable in its striking InterCity Swallow livery, the Class 91s and their InterCity 225 sets, when released in the late 1980s, were trains that immediately took the rail passenger market by storm, combining exceptional speed and comfort with an aesthetic that looked good among its contemporaries, although various teething problems, together with pervasive unreliability early in their careers, and their involvement in two of Britain's worst train crashes, has left something of a chequered history for these magnificent machines.

Special thanks to avocet1989, Photo 57601 and Nigel Fletcher/stephensrailways for allowing me the use of their footage, it is greatly appreciated. Be sure to check out their channels for more exceptional content of these trains in action, especially the Class 89.
