We are a family of 8 and we have been on a Qur'aan memorization journey the last 10 years. Follow along as we try to show you how that looks like in real life and within the craziness of a large family.

Today we are showing you how we recite some Qur'aan in the morning and play.

Our 6 year old is joining us on camera for the first time and showing you how she is learning how to Arabic. She's very excited and almost finished the Qai'dah Dhahabiyyah alhamdulillah.

Our 8 year old recites surah al Ikhlas and surah Quraysh. We FREQUENTLY read and repeat the surahs they already know until it becomes EASY and second nature to recite it. REPETITION is the key.

The 3 year old really just wanted to play this morning, so the older girls decided to entertain her with our version of 'musical' chairs. Of course they're letting her win :) because that's what big sisters do.

These interruptions ARE all part of our days and our efforts in memorizing.

We're hoping to share the regular days of our hifdh journey, not just the finished product.

Our 6 children are memorizing (or have finished memorizing), but only some of the are going to be joining us on YouTube :)

In order to keep us this a positive space, we'll be monitoring comments closely. Keep in mind that there are children watching :)
