Welcome to our channel!

We are a family of 8 and we have been on a Qur'aan memorization journey the last 10 years. Follow along as we try to show you how that looks like in real life and within the craziness of a large family.

Today's question: 'I want to ask your advice with regards to Quran reading routine every morning. Children are 3 and 5.5 years old.'

1. Focus on the relationship with your child.
2. Establish routines in regards to sleep and meals first. Add Qur'aan reading routine next.
3. For young children start with listening to become familiar with the sound of recitation and with learning how to read Arabic.
4. Short sessions of 10 - 15 min max but be consistent and do it every day until they become second nature.
5. Avoid punishments and rewards, but rather make it a part of your natural flow of the day (same as you eat, sleep etc.)
6. Anchor the Qur'aan reading and recitation to something positive.

Hope this helps!

For learning how to read, we highly recommend the Qai'dah Nooraniyyah program. Our children have been able to learn how to read at a young age with the correct pronounciation at their own pace.

We'll be making more videos in future insha'Allah, so please like, comment and subscribe!

There are 2 spectrums often portrayed online:
A - the HOW to videos with tips and tricks
B - the finished PRODUCT of a child/young person reciting amazingly well and fluent

How to get from A to B is RARELY portrayed because it's MESSY and not pretty and often very hard. We're hoping to bridge that gap by showing you what it really looks like and by talking about the process and the LONG journey.
