There is one sure way to ruin a bike fit -- to test the rider (do your data capture) at the wrong effort. I firmly believe the best, most repeatable effort is a self selected power based off the rider's most consistent cadence. It's still important to get data at higher efforts like threshold or above, but only testing att his level can skew the data.
