REALTORS® Anita and Jay Sherley provide stable housing and mentoring to at-risk young men and women, many homeless, recently released from jail, or too old for foster care. In the 16 years since they founded Life Houses Inc., the Sherleys have helped more than 200 at-risk young adults build life skills to transition to productive, goal-oriented lives of purpose.

Life Houses meets an important need in the Helena, Montana community, as a nonprofit that provides young adults homes that encourage, influence, and mobilize. Even while raising three children of their own, Anita and Jay began serving as unofficial foster parents to young adults who’d lost their way. This eventually conceived the idea for Life Houses, a lasting mentorship program.
