We visit Butters BBQ and Baker Brothers BBQ in South Texas for our next stops of the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ Challenge. In November of 2021 Texas Monthly released their listing of the Top 50 best BBQ joints in the great state of Texas. Along with this list, they created a BBQ passport to collect stamps from the new top 50 BBQ joints. Since we are not getting much use out of our traditional passports these days, we decided to start collecting stamps in our new BBQ passport.

Texas Monthly also issued a challenge along with the BBQ passport: If you are one of the first to get all 50 stamps within the first 12 months (by November 2022) you win a prize. We are going to try our best and make the deadline, but we just love BBQ and having a list of different places all across the state of Texas sounds like a fun challenge even if it takes us more than 12 months. Since we love traveling with our trailer, this challenge will help make our travel plans this year!
