In this video I will be making a set of aluminum bronze ninja stars resin art that glow in the dark. I designed the ninja stars in CAD (Fusion 360) and then 3d printed patterns to make a sand mold. I used an oil bonded sand called petrobond to make the mold and then went to work melting some aluminum bronze in my backyard foundry. After finishing the castings I created a glow in the dark inlay using epoxy resin and strontium aluminate powder.
