Let's learn about sweet wines or dessert wines. Not that you need a reason to drink a dessert wine but with Valentines Day right around the corner, this is the perfect occasion to buy a bottle of sweet wine or order a glass of dessert wine at the end of your meal.

This is going to be Part 1 of Dessert Wine for Beginners. Today we are going to cover sweet wines that are made through viticultural techniques (wine growing methods).
We are going to talk about sweet wines made via 1) Late Harvest 2) Noble Rot or Botrytis Cinerea 3) Drying Grapes 4) Freezing Grapes

We will go through different famous examples like
Late Harvest Riesling from Germany
Sauternes, a famous French sweet wine
Tokaji Aszu a renouwn Hungarian Sweet wines
Vin Santo, Passito and Recioto, delicious Italian sweet wines
Ice Wine - Famous Canadian and German sweet wines

All amazing sweet wines to try.

Lastly, we will talk about some food pairing ideas (desserts, cheeses)
