Teresa Earnhardt and Max Siegel hoped that the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season would see their changes like merging their engine shop with RCR and their organization with Ginn Racing pay off for the better. Dale Earnhardt Jr was gone, but you had a talented driver roster of Mark Martin, Martin Truex Jr, Paul Menard, Aric Almirola, and Regan Smith to lead Dale Earnhardt Incorporated. However, this 2008 season would instead see their empire crumble eventually leading to their painful downfall from glory.
