The Cambrian Heritage Railways have a little known section of railway line that runs from Llynclys to Penygarreg Lane Halt in the village of Pant. The old Llynclys Station is now a private dwelling and the heritage railway built a new station at the old goods station in 2005 and another at the Pant terminus in 2012. The old Montgomery Canal runs close by and once restored enough walkers and canal users may pass by to support a seasonal heritage train service on the mile or so long line.
