I spent a western weekend at Bar 10 Ranch in Arizona, next to the Grand Canyon. On the way there I found an epic campsite in Wyoming, which I had all to myself. At the ranch, we went horseback riding, drove our Jeeps and other rigs to the Grand Canyon, and I hiked to the bottom of the canyon to check out the Colorado River. The entire event was hosted by E3 Offroad, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a relaxing and adventurous weekend.

Camera nerds:
This was shot primarily on the Sony FX6. B-roll and gimbal shots are from the Sony A7 IV. I almost exclusively used Sirui anamorphic lenses, 35mm, and 100mm, on the FX6. Several shots have odd color gradients, which are artifacts of using a circular polarizer and the FX6's built-in variable ND filters. In this case, I ran with it because I think the look gave the shots a degraded film look. Speaking of grading, mine can use some work. I could have spent a monumental amount of time getting the colors to match better, but they're in the ballpark. The music was from Artlist. If you made it this far and are a camera nerd, what could I have done better, and what are your thoughts on the anamorphic format? My final ratio was 2.96:1, purely because I wanted to use the full width of the anamorphic lenses.
