County Lines drug networks are expanding and exploiting vulnerable young people across the UK. How can we stop this well-resourced criminal network destroying more lives?

In this YorkTalk, Dr Chris Devany from the University of York’s School for Business and Society explores how police and public services often struggle to navigate the blurred lines between “victims” and “offenders” in County Lines networks.

He explains how he and the team from the ESRC Vulnerability and Policing Futures Research Centre are working with the police, public services and people with lived experience of County Lines to develop a nationwide, unified response.
