Oregonians are paying more for out-of-pocket medical costs according to a new report from the Oregon Health Authority.

According to the OHA report, patients' share of medical costs has gone up 17.5% from 2015 to 2022.

The report found that in 2022 Oregonians were paying an average of 13.6% of their total medical care cost, or roughly $776 a year on average.
