Pinhead is such an iconic horror villain that it’s easy to forget that we don’t learn much about him in the first Hellraiser film. Not unlike Jason Vorhees in the Friday the 13th series, Pinhead makes minimal appearances in his first outing, but we learn more about his backstory in future films.
