Home remodeling is expensive, and I had NO idea how much damage had been done until I sat down and added it all up. Over the last 18 months, I've been busy renovating this 1980's ranch home near Joshua Tree, CA. I have had my fair share of ups and downs including working with scammer GC's, not being able to find enough reliable contractors for jobs, having to pay someone to fix something that was never done properly to begin with....and that was just in the first month of home renovating, lol! The high desert (like so many other markets) have a shortage of qualified and quality contractors, and while I had a massive challenge on my hands, I am SO thrilled with house the remodel ended up.
